ARC Training in collaboration with Civic Disability Services has been selected as the WINNER for the 2024 NSW Industry Collaboration Award.
Supported Employee Program:
The Supported Employee Program is a collaborative initiative between Civic Disability and ARC Training, aimed at providing comprehensive training opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This program offers SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail, delivered directly at the worksite of Civic’s employees with disabilities. By identifying and delivering tailored training, the program enhances the prospects for open employment and contributes to the personal development and social and behavioral improvements of the participants, aligning with their individual goals.
Historically, full Certificate III qualifications for individuals with disabilities have been limited. The Supported Employee Program was developed to fill this gap, offering high-quality training that empowers supported employees both personally and professionally. Civic Disability partnered with ARC Training, to ensure flexible and customized training solutions that meet the unique needs of Civic Disability’s business operations and staff. Through comprehensive assessments and a deep understanding of participants, we developed a tailored program designed to meet specific requirements and learning styles.
This initiative highlights the shared commitment of Civic Disability and ARC Training to inclusivity and empowerment, providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to pursue and obtain accredited qualifications. By promoting diversity and universal access to education, Civic Disability and ARC Training are transforming lives, reshaping perceptions, and fostering a more inclusive society.
