Bespoke qualifications
Support Employee Program – Civic Disability Services
This program was designed and delivered in partnership with Civic Disabilities to promote lifelong learning and economic empowerment of students with disabilities.
ARC Training delivered SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail and supported the training with soft skills such as employability, independence and wellness activities.
Graduates completed classes with support from their trainer and care workers and gained meaningful employment experience working in the retail and food service industries.
Continuity of Care Program – Regis Aged Care Services
This program was designed and delivered in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australian Regis Aged Care facilities to support workers in residential aged care facilities not currently employed in a direct carer role to upskill into the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
The goal was to enable these employees to upskill within their current roles to support residents but also ensure suitable coverage during any care force shortages by allowing them to work as residential aged care workers.
The program was delivered using a bespoke workplace hybrid model including:
- Live classes for Regis employees through a digital classroom
- Contextualised to Regis’ policies and procedures
- Assessments tailored specifically to reflect workplace experiences and observations on care shifts.
ARC Training organised support from the NSW, QLD and SA Governments to subsidise course fees for students.
