The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) qualification focuses on how to follow an individualised plan and provide person-centred support. To carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of daily living for people in an aged care setting.

ARC Training does not guarantee successful completion of this course or guarantee employment.
This course can be delivered via a Digital Classroom or flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities. Students have up to 12 months to complete the course, including 26 weeks’ training program and self-directed learning (General Public); or approximately 49 weeks training program and self-directed learning (Existing Workers).
You will commit to 10 hours per week of self -directed learning, which can include reading the learner guide and conducting research. We also recommend you commit 5 hours per unit of competency for assessment preparation and completion.
Please be advised that some assessments may be conducted in a simulated environment. If you are not an existing worker in the industry, the current simulation locations are Parramatta (NSW) and Wollongong (NSW).
This course also includes a work placement component (120 hours; approximately 40 hours per week) at a care facility that must be completed in order to be awarded your qualification.

In addition to the assessment methods above, students are required to commit to participating in self-directed learning throughout the duration of their studies.
