This qualification reflects the role of individuals to undertake work in a manufacturing work place with a focus on production support. To develop and build a broad range of knowledge and skills to carry out a range production activities to work safely, quality standards, complete production orders and provide support to the team.
This course can be delivered in a flexible program of classroom training and self-paced learning activities. The program runs for 12 months, including:
- 14 weeks’ workshops
- Self-directed learning.
ARC Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course, students must:
- have completed Year 10 or equivalent;
- have work experience or is an existing worker in the CHC sector;
- be 16 years old and over;
- have a minimum ACSF Level 2;
- complete a language, literacy and numeracy test;
- have basic computing skills;
- be physically fit for potential lifting requirements;
- must have access to a computer with an internet connection, and
- provide their USI.
Training and Assessment Activities
Assessment methods may include but are not limited to:
- Short answers, projects, reports, demo / role-play, portfolio

Students will be provided the following support services:
- LLN support
- Career counselling
- Assessment support
- Referral to personal counselling.
